Attorney N. Jude (Jay) Menes

Attorney N. Jude (Jay) Menes is the founder and global coordinator of Meneslaw Konsult. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics (Upper Honors), Attorney Menes earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence (Cum Laude) from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. He is a candidate for Master of Science degree in Negotiation & Dispute Resolution from Creighton University School of Law, Nebraska Upon graduating from law school and being licensed to practice law, Attorney Menes joined the prestigious Thompson & Knight law firm in downtown Dallas representing Fortune 500 corporations in a variety of litigation and appellate matters. He subsequently joined the Dallas City Attorney’s Office as an Assistant City Attorney where he defended the City in employment discrimination and civil rights cases, and also served as legal counsel to City council and management. Attorney Menes eventually left the City Attorney’s Office to establish Menes Law Firm, where he and other attorneys on his staff have been providing problem-solving legal representation to immigrants in the United States. Attorney Menes’ law practice has focused on civil rights, immigration, international mediation and arbitration, and cross-border representation of American businesses in Africa and African businesses in America. He is a candidate for Master of Science degree in Negotiation & Dispute Resolution from Creighton University School of Law, Nebraska. In addition to his law practice and business ventures, Attorney Menes is also an activist who is passionate about helping and protecting the less privileged members of the society. He has been involved in many causes aimed at bettering the society in the United States and Africa. He is currently the Country Director for Linking the World, a reputable global Non Governmental Organization headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Azubike Aliche
Lead Consultant Community and Corporate Relations

Dr. Azubike Aliche, a Nigerian-American, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and mental health provider in the State of New Jersey, USA. Dr. Aliche completed undergraduate and graduate degrees in sociology and mass communications at the University of Lagos from 1983 to 1989. An award-winning journalist, he worked in some of Nigeria's best newspaper and media outfits, and rose to positions of editor of a weekly newspaper, and editorial page editor of a daily newspaper. He is one of the pioneer staff and members of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON). Dr. Aliche has resided in the United States for many years and holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, and Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree from the University of Tennessee. He also completed a Post-master's certificate in Couple and Family Therapy at Drexel University, Philadelphia in 2011. In the United States, Dr. Aliche has worked in the human services and criminal justice sectors, providing mental health services to diverse clientele in different settings. He is now partly in private practice, providing individual, couple and group psychotherapy. Dr. Aliche has a passion for charity work, and is director and CEO of Power Education Foundation (PEF), a US tax-exempt nonprofit corporation. The PEF raises money in the United States to support the development of early childhood education in rural parts of Nigeria. A prolific writer, and public affairs and policy analyst, Dr. Aliche has published two books: Tales from Africa (2002) and The Culture Wars Within: The Examination of Marriage in the Context of Culture Conflict (2012). Aliche won the Best Journalist of the Year 1995 bestowed by the Rivers State Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalist in 1996 as well as the Research Award of the Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy of the JFK School of Government, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, for 1997.

Architect Rick Brown

Mr. Brown is an architect registered with this American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has over thirty years’ experience as a practicing Architect. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and founded RBA Architects, Inc. in 1985, after practicing for seven years as Director of Design for a top Dallas architectural company, and for two years as a Project Manager. Mr. Brown has diverse experience in handling both public and private projects. His projects have won design awards and have been published in several periodicals. He has served as a guest design critic at the University of Texas, and has organized project management seminars for the American Institute of Architects. In addition to producing award winning architecture and interior designs, Mr. Brown is also an exceptional project manager with expertise in code compliance, quality control, and construction administration. He is the author of the Firm’s Total Quality Project Management Program, and was honored in the 1995-1996 edition of the national directory of Who’s Who among Executives and Professionals. Mr. Brown has served on a number of committees of the American Institute of Architects, including the Committee on Justice Facility Design, and the Committee on Educational Design. His projects have been published in various architectural magazines, including the Architectural Record, the Contract Design Magazine, the Interior Design Magazine, and the Hospitality Design Magazine. He has served nationally and internationally as project architect, design consultant, construction consultant, and project development manager.

Engr. Mukemmel "Mike" Sarimsakci

Mukemmel "Mike" Sarimsakci is an international real estate and infrastructure developer/financier. He has handled numerous projects involving development and construction of real estate and infrastructures. He is the President of San Francisco (California) based Alterra International Corporation with billions of dollars in assets. Under Mike's direction, Alterra has developed and constructed hotels, high-rise office buildings, apartment communities, and malls across the United States and Europe. In addition to private projects, Mike has also partnered with the United States government and municipalities to undertake development and construction of EB-5 projects aimed at granting green cards and US citizenship to foreigners. Apart from his vast experience and involvement in real estate development, Mike's company has been responsible for developing and executing renewable energy development strategy in emerging frontier markets, including a "build, own and operate" JV partnership with Goergian Energy Fund for a 1000MW wind plant in the Republic of Georgia (Europe). Dr. Rosenid Hernandez-Badia

Dr. Hernandez-Badia is a seasoned educator and school administrator with many years’ experience in the Dallas Independent School District. She has been involved in working with educators, school administrators, and master teacher-librarians, to develop successful strategies and policies for new student generation around the world. Dr. Hernandez-Badia is a bilingual educator who has been involved in various areas of operating and administering elementary, secondary and higher educational institutions including such areas as library administration and operations, investigation, teacher training, curriculum development and delivery, and science focused education. She has intimate knowledge of procedural matters involved in the operation of educational institutions from elementary school level to university level. With a strong background in planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and evaluating, Dr. Hernandez-Badia is a knowledgeable speaker in conferences, seminars and workshops. She is skilled and experienced in budgetary management, grant writing, and interdisciplinary project management, problem solving, collaborative projects, and communications. Apart from Dallas Independent School District, Dr. Hernandez-Badia has previously worked as a Professor of Education, Mathematics and Science at Cambridge College in Puerto Rico; Faculty Director at American University of Puerto Rico; and Biology Professor at University of the Virgin Islands; Graduate Professor and Thesis Consultant at Caribbean University, Bayamon.

As the Trade Finance Manager in the North America division of industrial tools and equipment manufacturing giant, Atlas Copco Corporation, Mr. Onumateka originated and handled funding and financing transactions and developed credit portfolios worth over $500M. And as a licensed broker of the United States EXIM bank, he developed and coordinated a network of strategic alliances with manufacturers in the United States for purposes of promoting sales and export of "Made in US" products to Africa and the BRICS countries. As a NEXIM bank broker, he arranges and facilitates provision of medium term financing facilities utilized in sale and export of mining, agricultural, infrastructural, and construction equipment and products from the United States
